Meet the Photographer
Hi, I’m Lauren—the photographer behind Vesper & Vale Photography.
For me, photography has never been about creating a perfectly posed image. It’s about noticing the moments that might otherwise pass unnoticed—the way someone looks at the person they love, a hand reaching instinctively for another, the quiet between the laughter, or the small details that somehow become the ones we remember most.
My photography is inspired by emotion, connection, and the beauty found in both people and places. I’m drawn to rich shadows, natural landscapes, intimate details, and photographs that feel a little cinematic while still remaining completely genuine.
Behind the camera, my approach is relaxed and intentional. I’ll guide you when you need direction, but I also believe some of the most meaningful photographs happen when you forget the camera is there. You don't need to know how to pose or worry about being "photogenic." Come as you are, and we'll create something that feels like you.
Whether I'm photographing a couple deeply in love, a family in a season they never want to forget, a beloved pet, or an individual simply wanting to preserve a piece of their story, I approach every session with the same purpose: to create photographs that hold feeling, not just an image.

Every session is unique, and pricing is customized to reflect the vision, location, preparation, and creative work required to bring it to life.
Your personalized quote is based on several elements:
Location
Pricing considers the selected photography location, including travel distance, accessibility, permits, admission or venue fees, and any additional time required to reach or prepare the setting. Local sessions will generally remain within the standard session rate, while destinations requiring significant travel may include an additional travel fee.
Backdrop & Setting
Whether we are photographing against a natural landscape, inside your home, at a private venue, or creating a styled backdrop specifically for your session, the setting plays a role in your final investment. Custom-built or specially sourced backdrops may be added to the session price.
Supplies & Styling
When your vision calls for additional details—such as florals, candles, fabrics, props, furniture, specialty décor, or other styling elements—these can be sourced and incorporated into your session. Any supplies provided specifically for your shoot will be reflected in your personalized quote.
Session Complexity
Some stories require a little more preparation. Pricing may vary depending on the number of people, locations, outfit changes, equipment requirements, setup and breakdown time, lighting conditions, creative preparation, and overall difficulty of the session.

Rather than limiting your vision to a predetermined package, each session begins with a base photography rate.
